8/27 Comair Class

Congratulations Diver Driver! I knew they'd call you back. With only 1 class per month and the 7/30 class already filled, they're just not in too big of a hurry.

You have my email address. Send me a msg and let me know if you're taking the hotel or furnished apt. option. I haven't decided yet.

Eight weeks will fly by.

---

For the guy who asked about Florida bases, the Comair flying at MCO is being replaced by ERJ's from Mesa/Freedom. I have a friend who lives in Orlando. He took a job with Mesa in hopes of getting an MCO base w/in a few months.

Thanks, It was nice to meet ya at the interview, glad I know somebody in class! You know that CR7 pilot that came and said hi to me at lunch? He just got his captain upgrade and might be in class around the same time as us. Anyway, Im going for the furnished apartments because I'm local and will have the car. Any idea what you are going to do? Not sure if we can request housemates or anything like that.... I was too excited to ask questions during the job offer phone call.

Cincinnati is a long drive for me, but being in a hotel w/o a car for that long would be a drag. Also, having private laundry and a kitchen would be nice. Right now, I'm leaning towards the apartment. The hardest thing to swallow is putting over 4,000 miles on my car to do it.

I don't know how the roommate selection is handled either.

If we had a choice Id prob go for the apartment.....I am so ready to get out of this hotel, and the laundry here sucks so I end up going to a laundry mat once a week, which also sucks.... I have a car also, but I am dying to cook a meal, and stop getting take out. Making raman noodles in the coffee pot is never fun! Go for the apartment. Plus the holiday inn we are at is a convetion and meetings hotel, so EVERY weekend this place FILLS up and there are usually screaming children, or a bible convention playing guitare and singing about jesus til 1am on either side of your room.... Im ready to blow my brains! Lately its been Softball tournaments for 12 year olds, they run up and down the hall all night..... Go for the apartment!

The Hilton is nice. Plus, it's good to be in the same place as your classmates for homework/study purposes.

Oh nice, new FO's behind me! Yes, go for the apartment. We weren't even given that option and had to stay at the Radisson downtown. It was nice being close to places to eat since i didn't have a car, but I really got sick of it. Wish they had given us the apartment option. I woulda loved something like the Residence Inn. (not sure if its that) Well welcome to Comair and I'll see ya'll at JFK. I'm waiting to start IOE.

Wish I was at the hilton or raddison, holiday inn is not bad, it would be horrible without a car, but the whole convention thing every weekend gets old, ecspec when u have saturday morning 4am sim......
