I'm most likely going to be done with IOE this week. I ws wondering if there is any way to let scheduling fly you ALOT? I'd rather fly then sit and wait since I have to commute.

Any thoughts?

As a scheduler, I have to follow seniority rules and day availabilty when calling someone out to work. However if you really want to fly put in for bid to fly. Everytime you get into CVG give us a call it can never hurt. Ask the scheduler when he or she calls to look into open time the next day, ask to be tagged. Alot of New F.O. are picking up alot of flying just cause they call and harrass us everytime they come into cincy. Yea sometimes they may wait and hour or two but hey its money in the bank later. Especially when we are short f.o. on any particular day. Really short 70seat f.o..

I don't mean to sound like I'm jumping the proverbial gun so to speak as I haven't started training yet, but does anyone know how long the transition to the 700 is? I've heard that it is senior and that it is not too senior at all, I'd like to clear up the ambiguity. Thanks!

its wasn't senior as guys with 6 months time got it but now chances are you would not get it as there is about 200 guys ahead of you that could get it if they want it,
