Whacker77, the fact that you did not make it through CHQ training a couple months ago is probably why Eagle passed on you.. despite the competitive times, they want to know you will pass a 121 training program.

Bingo.... Eagle will not hire you if you have failed out of 121 training.

Screw 'em. Who needs a nine-year upgrade to a turboprop, anyway? It's life alright... a wonderful life!

Well, Eagle informed me this morning through email that my application wasn't as competative as others and I could reapply in six months. I have 1100 and 115, but back to the drawing board. That's life.

Just for the record, I didn't fail CHQ's training program. I left the training program because my Mom's breast cancer progressed significantly and I decided to be home with her rather than there.

I guess this post is as good as any to ask these questions:

Being that AE is so sensitive to making sure you got absolutly everything in order and correct, what are ALL the documents required to bring with you to an interview?

Eagle does have its positives however.

Yeah. You're not really supposed to be "fried" when you apply for an airline job. I think that was the problem.

This is my career flying position. I have been here for a year now, and have since got my ATP as well as my CE-560 PIC type rating, and am enjoying the lifestyle of working for a growing (substantially) company that appreciates its employees, and is located five miles from my front door!! I gave up on the whole airline dream and am glad that I did.

Where are you based? Is your company hiring? I currently fly for a regional and having flown citations before I've always wanted to make a career out of flying corp/charter. -Maybe I should have turned down that interview?
