Default Headset wanted...

I'm starting flight training relatively soon, and I was wondering if anybody had a David Clark 10-13X or anything similair, that they would be interested in selling to me...I've heard the noise cancellation works wonders, however is there really a big difference between that and passive noise cancellation, is it really worth the extra money? Let me know...thanks

Absolutely get ANR, it will save your hearing in the long run and well worth the extra cost. I use Lightspeed 15xl's (i dont think they make em anymore) and theyre great. Ive only had a few problems with em and everytime, Lightspeed has fixed them for free and overnighted them back. They look big and bulky, but are pretty comfortable and surprisingly light weight. Whatever you decide, make sure it has ANR.
