Do you think he is taking a satirical approach to the contentious gripes of some airline pilots?

That Navy vid is freaking awesome. It is times like that, the camaraderie, that makes me wish I had served on a carrier. They all look like a great group of guys/gals. Our country should be proud of our fighting men/women.

Never have I seen such an outstanding example of the unwavering discipline and professionalism exhibited by the Navy's commisioned officers.

 

Wow, hes 58!? He looks 75. I guess thats what a career of being beat down, underpaid and under appreciated will do to you. Every time I hear of one of these guys getting a regional job at 19 or 20 it makes me kinda sad. Whats that? You don't care cause you love to fly airplanes? I bet you that guy used to love flying airplanes to...

 

You know what - He is one example of a guy that never should have been in the cockpit. And now, he's disseminating his "the world screwed me so I'm so miserable" fanatical opinions to the American (and world) public who are already prone to mass-hysteria, and might actually take him as a credible source of this crap. Obviously, it isn't just flying that he hates in life...

After watching that, I just turned up some Cannon in D-minor because a nutjob like that can bring us all down. As a profession, and as a sane-individual! But that isn't enough - I think even some classic Pachabel can't recover me fully from those five minutes...maybe I'll go and have a drink with some buddies.

And that's as far as I'm going - because a guy like that isn't even worth the effort. Life is what you make it - no more and no less. LoL. I 'aint never gonna be that miserable ;-)

On the flip-side - that Navy video was downright amazing!
