And at 28, you should be in the top third of seniority in your class... there are still a decent number of people in each class coming over from other 121 jobs, whose age can vary widely.

Anywhere from same day to 2 weeks. All depends. It took them 2 weeks to tell me. And when they did, they sent a very very thin envelope with a one page letter that started off "Thank you for interviewing blah blah blah". It took until the second paragraph to find out I had the job and by then I was getting ready to shred the damn thing.
