Saab340, you insist on telling everyone how unsafe it is here at Pinnacle and how you see mistake after mistake. I work here. I just have never witnessed anything that I remotely considered unsafe, and I just don't see the trail of mistakes that you speak of. Have you personally witnessed these 'mistakes', or do you just 'believe and repeat' the continuous barrage of Pinnacle bashing you hear from your coworkers?
What is it that has made you an expert on Pinnacle? Hearsay? Urban Legend? What have YOU personally witnessed? I will tell you what I witness every time I work at Pinnacle. That is a safe, competant, professional group of pilots. Don't let one or two instances of VERY poor judgement, label our whole pilot group. That is just not fair to the outstanding group of people working here.
You have testified that we have 60-70 violations. Where did you get this information? Hearsay? What was the timeframe for those violations? I have never been violated, nor have I even heard of a single one of my coworkers being violated, although I am SURE it has happened. Within the company, I just have never heard of it. I only hear of it on message boards like this, from the Pinnacle experts like you.
Saab340, the point I would like to make is not to believe everything you hear. I am TRULY sorry to hear of the Mesaba furloughs. I know of at least five ex-Mesaba employees that work here. All Captains now, and they all like it here. Two of them were furloughed from Mesaba when they came here. I would certainly welcome any furloughed Mesaba pilot to give Pinnacle a chance by coming to work here. You may just be surprised!

I just remember 2 geniuses having a blast taking an RJ up to high and then crashing. Whats up with that? Then again, it could just be hearsay cause I read on NTSB's website. Well on the safe side- they conducted that nifty maneuver on a ferry flight with no pax. But then again, they didn't quite make the runway either. Really makes me wonder what goes on up there.
Then again- what do I know?

Professional Pilots must be defined as:
Taking an RJ across the fields in MKE, then starting up the engines and taxing to the gate. What happen to the Captain? FAA busted all his tickets.
FAA issued 60 violations - that was in the ntsb report, documented.
Work where you want just do not try and convince us that Airlink is something it is not.
We got guys coming in daily fom the Link looking to get out, so it must be a great place to work.

I forgot what airport it was. Anyway they were on the approach, went missed and turned the wrong way on the missed approach procedure because they loaded the FMS with the wrong radial. They came within 400 ft of hitting the mountainous terrain.
Scary.

Look at page 13 under New Hire Training Success Rate. It might be a year old, but I find it hard to believe that it's up to 50 something percent these days.
