I'm on target to finish my second year at about 44K. I work about 90-95 hours a month and get paid average 100 hours.

I live in IAH and as an FO was IAH based. So living in base allowed me to maximize my schedule and pay. Now i am a CA in ONT and now commute so we shall see how things go now. So far its been ok.

I may hold out for IAH when the time comes, it's so nice to live in base...like you said, you can maximize your schedule and pay.

I thought about holding out but It seems like its going to take a long time to get a line in IAH.

SongMan if you only knew. LAX and ONT are junior bases. Pilots are getting high value lines right out of training at LAX. I think our LAX operation will grow too.
