Yes, ASA pays you guarentee, 75 hours per month, plus per diem, 8 hrs a day, and they pay for your hotel. The hotel is the Red Roof right scross the street from Flight Safety, where all your training be held. Just beware of the rats and roaches! No kidding. I've been here 3+ years and that place gets scarier every time we had to stay there. Pay days are on the 15th and last day of each month. On the last day of the month, you'll get a paycheck for half your guarentee, 37.5 hrs, at $19.02/hr. On the 15th, you'll get the other half of guarentee plus all the per diem for the previous month. You'll have to submit a credit sheet by the 2nd of the month to get paid your per diem while in training. For some reason, they don't have that part of the pay process integrated into the payroll system. There are a few restaurants around the hotel. I've always had a minifridge and microwave in my rooms there. Also, ask for a room that has the big desk. That'll help tremendously for the 2 months you're going to be living in that room. Good luck with the call back....see you out on the line!

Thanks for all the info. I was so impressed when I interviewed with ASA. Everyone wanted to give tips and were very friendly. Yea those beds at the Red Roof are something else. It has been just over two weeks so I hope i get the good news in the mail tomorrow or Tuesday. Got to love the waiting game.
