Yes we do...its basically a one for one agreement. They can only flow back asmany as we flow to them. NWA is hurting for pilots right now...should be interesting how things pan out between XJ and Compass flowing pilots up to them!

Too bad it will be 2 1/2 years before any flow up occurs. I know at Compass the avg. flight time of new hires is VERY high. Personally, I am questioning my decision to go to Compass now (Aug. class date) if NWA is hiring as of yesterday. Not too sure I want to flow up to anywhere that's been hiring for a couple years straight... Someone cheer me up. I'm losing my mind!

Personally, I wouldn't touch anything with a red tail unless I lived in and was totally in love with ANC, SEA, MEM, MSP or DTW. It'll just be a matter of time before NWA's over-compensated, under-talented management comes looking for another ass to rape and I'd just as soon be nowhere near the place. Something about those who are not familiar with history being doomed to repeat it...or something to that effect?

at first I thought you were talking about CAL and ExpressJet...what is it 2 1/2 years before another 25% can be taken away?

exactly. that flow through is a benifit to the mainline guys, not mesaba or compass. so i would not even be looking at that as a benifit if i wanted to go to mesaba or compass.

Compass has the 30 month requirement for time on property before I flow up can occur. I do not know the terms of Mesaba's flow. And your mention of Pinnacle is the first I've heard of that. I don't think they have such an agreement there.

As far as Mesaba's agreement goes, I have heard the following (I don't know if anything has been final finalized yet...):

1) I believe the 30 month employment clause is there, which would already cover the vast majority of XJ employees.

2) You must be a Captain (no time limit, it could even be just for 1 day).

3) Starting in the beginning of next year, the flow up is limited to just 3 a month. Eventually it works its way up to (I think) 10 a month.

4) Flow downs can never be more than the amount which have flowed up.

The bigger question is will XJ Captains be able to apply to NWA outside of the flow agreement? I hear NWA will start hiring next month or so.

i never mentioned pinnacle, we don't have a flow through or even preferential hiring.
