I dunno if he is a "freak", but he is religious and doesn't feel the need to hide it. At the end of the majority of his letters, he closes with "God Bless"... don't see that too much in corporate America. Oddly, he never seems to ask himself WWJD when it comes to following the contract 
. Overall, I do like that he is religious and he has proven that he is good at what he does.. much like JR at XJT.
