Scenic
Just wondering if they have a training contract?
|
i Assume yes but I don't know for how long.
good luck! |
looking at grand canyon airlines, they don't have a traing contract,Applicants are required to be current and proficient in IFR skills and procedures.
so i would guess the same with scenic |
I don't think either do......hope not......

Unless you are from the Vegas/Boulder City area, I would recommend one of the regionals vs. running the ditch all day. Unpressurized, low and slow, bumpy hot air over mountains, and long days carrying tourists. That's a hard life that pays even worse than an RJ job. Vegas in not the cheapest city to live in, and with the all the hiring going on, if you have the time for Scenic you should be able to get hired at a few other places as well. |
Good point...it just looks like fun flying, nice break from the CFI lifestyle.
A regional would be nice, just don't want to get domiciled back east with a training contract. |
had a friend who went down to scenic after TSA gave him the axe...don't think he liked it all that much, and was much happier upon getting on w/ Xjet, and back to the flying he wanted to do. He did say it was "fun" @ first, but...he also mentioned, mergers, and job losses on the horizon.

Scenic flys the twin otters, correct?
What are their minimums for the right seat? Nevermind. I found the info. You can almost get a job at XJT with those mins. |
