thats another negative thing about COlgan, all day trips so you can spend all your time in a dirty crashpad.

Not to be completely unhelpful and negative...but just move there. The commute will probably kill you and make you hate being a pilot.

In the northeast this is true, although I did just do some TDY out of IAD that had overnights. All houston trips are overnights.

I should be able to get houston next month, my wife and I own a house in Dallas, and my wife has a job with a three year contract here in Dallas. Moving is not an option. Just looking for a place to crash for about a month.

I'm north of KSYR...not of much help I know. But do keep in mind we get an a** load of snow here every year. Not so much in KROC, but enough to make driving...umm...interesting. Flights don't always run on time in the winter time...so if you'll be here over the winter months - temp. moving here for a couple months v. commuting might be a safer option.

Try the Comfort Inn across the street from the airport. I used to get them down to about $30/night. It's not all that nice a place, but it'll do.

Thanks. Did you have to tell them you were with a certain airline to get that price?

I did tell them I was a crewmember. Also let them know that you know someone who got "the $30/night deal". See if that works. I also had a Choice Priviledges card that. The had some good deals, like stay 2 nights, get the 3rd free. Good luck....
