There's one coming near my town towards the end of the month. I've thought about going, if nothing else, to keep my interview skills sharp. What is the setup of these procedings? Do you get offered a job there on the spot, or do you have to go to Utah for a sim check, and if so, what kind of sim is it(CRJ or Frasca with a seminole setup)?

I thought it was Flight Safety ATL with the CRJ200, or 700, sim (and sometimes the ATR sim depending on which is available)

I highly doubt they will hire without the sim check. And it's not in Salt Lake, it's at Flight Safety in ATL in the CRJ700 sim (at least that's the sim they've been using lately). Salt lake would be Skywest.

The sim ride is on the second day of the interview. You have to make it through the first day and get recalled. The Sim Eval is at ATL in the CRJ-700 Level D sim! Practice on Microsoft Flight Sim X to get ready if you want. The profile is circulating around the net. Pretty easy stuff If you want it, just PM me.

Thanks, I'd appreciate a copy of that profile, and any interview questions you might have on them. Unfortunately, you aren't able to pm just yet, but when you are, I'd love to get a hold of that info.
