Not sure who operates the flight from Manchester to CVG, but my neighbor (retired Comair CA) was told on a flight today by one of their crew members that their airline has purchased Comair and that the purchase would give the purchasing airline the ability to avoid BK.

I laughed when he told me this. I pray that this would never materialize for all of my friends at OH.

I told him, and he pretty much knows that it would be a bad move, because they wouldn't be able to survive when 1000 would just walk off the job.

Yonited? UAmericaSWestAirways?

The MHT departure info shows that UA and US serve CVG from the booming megalopolis of Manchvegas. PHL/CLT/IAD are the stops. Good ol' skooter greases one from MHT to the A-T-L. COco no longer booms 'em into the 513 (859) from Cleveburg and Sewark.

DAL's daddy just said that more industry consolidation would be a groovy thing. My guess is that Avantair is going to buy the big OH, wet lease everything to Presidential, and we'll be living large dropping VIPs into the sandbox for piles of Gulfo's.

Bank.

COco no longer serves CVG from CLE. Found that one out the hard way thanks to Delta agent in JFn'K! Had to ZED on Xjet into DAY and had my wife come pick us up.

Only airline close to BK is Mesa. Hell they can't even afford to buy one aircraft let alone another airline!:D

Nice. Road trip to DAY. Had to pull that one off when the ex-wifey had to get back from London via ATL, via DAY. She got bumped off the direct. Ah, those were the days.

Is Freedom operating anything from BOS-CVG? He may have flown out of BOS. He changes between the two based on how the flights look.

During the week its 5 flights a day. We operate 3, Shuttle has one and the last flight is mainline. On the weekend it's still 5, but the last is operated by CHQ.

Negative. It's all Comair, Mainline and Shuttle America. I think CHQ does one flight on Saturdays.

Nobody wants to buy Comair! Who want's a bunch of old, stinky 50 seaters?
