Hey FTR what's the matter? You didn't sound too thrilled about life when you dragged me out of bed to go fly. Rough first day back? Must be nice having a whole week off

Well to be honest I very seldom RLS People due to the fact im a Morning scheduler and its not practical to rls people on my shift, cause we dont know whats going to happen in the evening i leave at 4pm cause i get there at 0600. Ive never worked the night shift but the most jr scheduler typicaly work the late night shift and like i said some are afraid that the manager might yell at them for releasing people. There philosophy is your being paid to sit at home and chill why should we RLS you and get paid too. I typically only RLS A1, some A2 and inbound reserves who reported outside there window in the outstation. I cant justify RLS any a3 or beyond cause they still might be used in the evening.

Unfortunate thing is we are trained to i hate to say it kinda ignore if your a commuter. We cant take that into account. Ive tried to be accomondating to some and unfortunately i got burned a few times. Dont get me wrong i still do but now i have to look out for myself as well.

Dont know why they use weather as an excuse they could have been told by flt control to expect weather and we in scheduling dont have accesse to any radar system.

Other then i sounds better than "cause i said so" or "cause i dont want to" or "your a reserve and i dont give a s@%t cause i cant go home and its slow"

safe flying
Well thanks for the honesty. One more thing... below 100 hrs, aren't trips given in seniority, not inverse seniority order? Thought I read that somewhere, but it's definitely not consistently happenning from what I've seen with our class and those near us. Reserve windows are the same, days remaining are the same, and everyone's low time for a month...but the jr person gets the trip....?

Has anyone gotten to ride on the new 900s yet? Looks like we've got 4 in stock, 3 of which are flying

down2mins

Call them out on it. If you call me an tell me i slipped and looked at in inverse vs senior to jr i will do what i can to get you that trip. One thing ive told my sup was to create a second list of f.o. who are low time. That was it wouldnt be so difficult to call a reserve out. cause for us your all in one sheet of names and numbers. However SBS is so old i dont think it can make a distinction. The new system is suppose to be online in apr or march of next year(lol). However i think comair is under intense pressure to get it done.

safe flying

cessna they offered me the position however i was invited to a continental interview in houston to work in there socc

Everyone, my most likely soon to be X at Comair was trying to get me to apply at the aforementioned airline. Is something about to break? I know for now they want you to have 600/100, but are they about to lower that? I thought Comair had enough F.O.'s for now. And one more thing, NEVER,EVER MARRY A FLIGHT ATTENDANT-GEEEEESH!!! (IMHO)
