Hey JFK guys/gals. How many FOs have been getting long call? Is it 20 or 40% that get it?
I'm trying to decide if it's worth it for me to bid it and NOT JM or to bid other windows and JM |

Yay I got a line! Anyone notice how the other threads are all talking about furloughs, high fuel, moving backwards, and the doom and gloom about the industry. But in here we're talking beer and being on the beaches. Of course a couple months ago, it was doom and gloom for us too. Don't want to take it for granted though. We're very lucky right now. If I get bored one day I'm going to skim through this entire thread and just watch how the attitude has gone up and down over the last few months, just on this thread!

It's amazing how in just a matter of months things change. I'm certainly glad I decided not to jump ship after all....hopefully things will continue to show improvement.

Today I heard we are going to get so freakin' busy come summer, the Min. line value will be 88 hrs.

Is the SCE out and back a charter trip? Is there anything special FO's need to do on a trip like that because I have one coming up?

SCE is only a charter flight if the flight number is 9XXX. We do (or did) scheduled service into SCE, so chances are it's a scheduled flight. Nothing special, unless you need to learn how to use an uncontrolled airport.
