I think we all know that we are going to get screwed in this merger process. It's funny how the media portrayed this closing Concourse C a passenger advantage, better service, blah blah blah... Delta doesn't care about that, what they are doing is preparing for the future, and I don't see Comair coming out on top unfortunately. Delta has been pi**ing on us for years, and it will continue...
Seperate note...what do we have to do to non-rev on NWA? Is there a way to check loads? Is there a website or just a number? |

Did you really quit? If so, I wish you the best. |
I foresee a MAX exodus of senior folk/people afraid of Kennedy. Ashame for them (that it came to that)but great for everyone else.
My predictions are ALL 90 seat flying in JFK Increase in Boston Cincinnati crews will number in likeness to old GSO to current JFK size by the end of 2009 or Comair just liquidates and DL uses the cash/airplanes to beef up Compass/Mesaba, both of whom have massively cheaper cost structures and they'll cannibalize the "good things" that comair does (PPAS, Mx, ground handling) and absorb that into the new DCI of Compass/Mesaba, ASA/Skywest and Pinnacle |
Many of you keep talking about CVG downsizing or going away completely. I just don't see it. Not that management tells the truth, but if you read the memo on DeltaNet it talks about Delta's long term commitment in CVG.
I personally don't see the big D pulling out of CVG. I know there is no need for much of the overlap in certain markets post merger, but CVG is more marketable than Detroit, or Memphis to many big businesses. And let's face it, most of the traveling public today aren't pleasure tickets, they are business tickets. I would venture to say that P&G and Toyota are reason enough to keep CVG a hub. As far as Comair, Pinnacle, Mesaba, Compass, ASA, Skywest, Chitaqua, Mesa blah, blah, blah, I hope I am not alone in saying that I almost don't even care anymore. I just wish Delta would make up thier minds and make there cuts. I don't care if they go down to one regional, or two, or three, but I just wish they would do it and let us get on with our lives. This long drawn out drama episode is part of the reason thier customer service sucks. |
