How do you go by buying one, let's say on UsAirways. Or for that on any other Airline? Can you also get an ID 90 on a foreign airline. Thanks for the answer already
Flypixs, you can normally only buy an ID90/ZED for another carrier (foreign or domestic) through your own airline. Generally this is possible only at airlines that have interline agreements with other airlines, and FedEx is the only freight company that does this to my knowledge. You can ask around at your company, but as far as I know you won't be able to nonrev offline at Polar/Atlas/World/Focus/Cargo360 etc. Depending on the airline you may have jumpseat agreements with other airlines, check with your jumpseat coordinator for details.

Correct. You need to go to the ticket purchase counter on the far left and tell them you wish to jumpseat on NWA and pay your departure tax. The time that I ran into clueless KLM agents and went to USAirways instead, my mistake was asking at the check-in counter; every time I've used the ticket counter the people have been knowledgable.

If you look at this map:

http://content.schiphol.nl/info/plat..._lounge_uk.pdf

the KLM ticket counter is to the left of check-in desk 16 in Departure Hall 2.

flypixs you wont need to worry about nonrevving. call your crew scheduler and jumpseat on one of your own jets passing through one of your european fuel stops. not to mention if you ride with your own company youll be entitled to the catering on board

Yeah if your company goes anywhere near your destination that's gonna be your best bet. FAR comfier than getting stuck in 42F on a ratty old airliner. Just take the train once you're in Europe or buy an airline ticket to your final destination in S. America.
