Yea, I know. Not my pension. I was at XJT when they IPO'd. I got on after the new contract too. No A fund for me. I did hold 737 CA at 2.5 years, so I'll try to make up for it with the blended rate of $150.80/hour. :D

Personally I hope XJT keeps adding bigger aircraft, we need you guys to hold up those pay rates and work rules. ASA, AWAC, and Horizon can't do it alone! |

It would suck but you knew going in that CAL had cut flying. You know me, I was very anti-go-to-XJT two years ago, it was for this reason (job security). Anyone that has gone to XJT after 12/2005 (when CAL announced the cut) took a bigger gamble that they would be gainfully employed there.

Does XJT have larger aircraft pay in their current contract? If not then you'll see the same thing that's happened at RAH which we all know how people complain about that.
I dont see larger a/c in our future............ |
I wouldn't worry too much if I were you guys. Why? because, it's the same old management tactic to scare pilots into worrying frenzy in order keep us down where they want us. You can bet your dollar that XJT management is cooking up some deals with other airlines as we discuss this. Prospect for regional flying has never been this good. Why you may ask? All majors are shifting more of their domestic flying to regionals so they can concentrate on international flying. International flying is where the real moneys at.

Ya international is where it is all at, just look at TWA, Eastern, and Pan Am. All of them had great international routes and lost focus on domestic feed. |

Ask that exact question to every AA, DAL, CAL, NWA, UAL, SWA, UPS, FDX pilot and see how many friends you make at the end of the day. You and pilots like you are the reason they don't have to. Sellout.....
