Well..there were 12 of us to start with and one didn't make it through Indoc. He's a nice guy too and I wish him the best. The people in the class are ranging from ~1700hrs to less than me(~700). Most of the people that are less than me, however, has been through some RJ training. I believe only one guy has ATP and another(different guy) has 121 experience, the rest of us are GA and flight instructors. Don't worry about ATP written for interview, it ony has to be completed within 1 yr from hire.

Thanks.
To be honest with you, I don't know why either. Don't let me fool you either since some of us had easy time, just the majority didn't think it's easy. All I can tell you is it can be done and group study helps a lot in Indoc. I guess it's 2 weeks of trying to crunch everything about company policies and "121" regs into your "91" head in such a short amount of time. I know there might be someone that has just finished Indoc that can explain better than I do.

Here are what the training consists of when I went through, (and my opinion)
1. Indoc - 2 wks in Appleton, WI (hardest)
2. System - 2 wks in Charlotte, NC (easiest)
3. Cockpit Procedure Trainer - 4 days in Charlotte, NC (easy)
4. Sim - 8 training sessions, 1 checkride, 1 LOFT in Charlotte, NC (not too bad)

Some of the guys went to the different places for the sim but those are the time frame for training. I was lucky enough to have 1 week break between system and CPT, and 5 days between CPT and sim. Some even got more time between.

Indoc is do-able, just pay more attention to it and get together with your peers.

We just heard through the grapevine that they are adding the a few more sim lessons (12 total)

We also heard that they are making new hires jumpseat 5 flights before starting IOE

Ill admit....Indoc was hard as hell for me. I came from part 91 and 134.5 flying....so I wasnt used to alot of the regs. But we had a great group of guys...we all pulled together and stayed up countless hours in that dirty ass hotel and we all made it through.

I started first week of june, we heard back then that they were gonna be changing to program around...im curious as to how they are gonna do it now

I could describe the smell of my room in 3 words

DIRTY TRUCKER SEX!!!!

not to mention the walls were so thin that i could hear the dog barking and crying in the room behind me...and some arab guy playing that crazy arab music while he was praising allah.

I will say this...i liked appleton...loved the women...oh god were they hot...and loved the beer...i need to find a place where i can buy cases of "Spotted Cow" That beer was soo good that i wanted to freeze it into ice blocks and skate on it, then melt it in the spring and drink it!

wi pilot,

If you don't mind me asking, when did you interview and what were your hours/qualifications?

Congrats and good luck.

I actually interviewed today. I was available immediately and they had a slot open for the Oct. 1 class. Otherwise, I think they're hiring for the Oct. 15 class. I have 650TT/200ME.
