Pinnacle?

if you search under pinnacle, higney85, airsupport, or silver02ex you will find a bunch of stuff on pinnacle.
Basicly- if you live in one of the bases (MEM, DTW,MSP, and eventually ATL) and want to fly an all jet fleet it can be a great place. The upgrade is quick and the pilot group is great (except for me
). The negatives are that the current pay/workrules/etc leave much to be desired. We are in contract negotiations and things are kinda stalled. Tonight at 6 there is a conference call- I will post an update after I hear the latest. There are a few people on here who post pure negative things. The idea there is they are either ex-employees or were turned down at some point. If you commute this company may not be for you. If you are looking to fly 1000 hours a year and upgrade quick this place can be great for you.
The company has tried to tighten up the mins lately to 1000/200 unless you come from a bridge program. I would not expect that to remain- we just had a vacancy posted yesterday for 89 FOs and 32 CAs. 1000/200 will not fill the voids. Last time we needed people they started at 1000/200, then went to 800/100, then 600/100, then 500/50, then 250TT comm/multi. Good luck whichever boat you are in. Upgrade is 3500TT off the street, 2500 with 1000@ pncl, or 2000 with 1300@pncl and a mentor program that is just starting up. You can hold CA in new hire class.
QOL depends. I have been here just over a year and live in mem (from mem originally). I hold 12-14 days off, weekends off, 95 hours of flying, and 2-day trips. I am only gone 7-10 nights a month and many months I am in my own place part of each day. If I wanted to I could just do 4-day trips and hold 16 days off a month- the lady likes me home and I like my bed..
I have had the seniority to upgrade for a few months now since they became short on CAs and FOs were not upgrading. I was hired with roughly 1000/250 and am just waiting til next summer to be old enough. My QOL is as good as it can be in the FO world. Pay is crap and our contract (When it comes) will be a major improvement (there is a reason we are looking at 3 years of negotiations- we won't settle for crap). Thats about all I know to tell you. Let me know if you have any other questions. I will say that if I had to commute I would have looked elsewhere though. This place can be rough at times because we are short-staffed and moral seems to dwindle each day due to this contract and the fact that we work our asses off. Good luck wherever you venture.

Yeah that's cause all you do is brag about your damn prefbid skills and your "5 days off" which are often 3 off with an early finish the day before and a late start the day after. Hahah come on Higney play nice....

Where did I say anything about 5 days off? I do have 3 day weekends... every weekend... And I think I have figured out pref bid... Not sure where you are coming from here- I have always given you advice that works!

I thought I had figured out pref bid also. During the month of September, I got 15 days off as usual, and every single date and weekend I asked for. October is a different beast. 15 days and 1 pref that I asked for and it was
3rd on my list.
3rd on my list.
