Default i just got the coolest job offer

Look at this, I just got a call from a law firm that I interviewed for two days ago. They called this morning and sent an email saying that in a week I will be going to flightsafety for my type. here are the highlights of the job:

My own desk in my own office(computer and television)
95K a year to start($120 after 3rd year)
Almost new aircraft (2-5yrs old)
Home every night($100 for every night im away from my own bed)

Won't be sending in a resume to Republic after all

GIV & GV. All I know about the company ownership is its not just one firm its three separate ones plus one of the guys brothers is a hedge fund manager. The lawyers were freinds from college they bought one jet a few years ago and the second shortly after that. They split the costs four ways.

If that's the case, and the airplane really is pure 91 with RONs being rare, you got a pretty sweet gig. The ownership structure you describe sounds to me like high utilization and long trips on the road...

$95K for G-IV SIC, right? What part of the country are you in?

That's a tad high, but not by much...especially since his buds own the aircraft. But unless you're a real idiot, anybody who buys a GV intends on going on LOOONG trips. I don't think he'll be home every night

I'd argue that 95K for a typed G-450/550 pilot isn't high at all, especially dependent on his experience and what part of the country he's located in.

Yeah, he's experienced. Since he mentioned applying to republic, I assumed he was a 1000 hour CFI. Not.

Your right it isn't , if I had a g-rating and time on type I would have started at around 110.and correction no GV only two GIV's they just share the same type.Even s its still a lot of money I can pay off my car and probably buy my own apartment.
