Mesa CFO Peter Murnane cleaning out porn?
I honestly don't know whether to laugh or cry.

The hearing began yesterday and continues today. For those of you who don't already know, Hawaiian Airlines discovered that Mesa's CFO Peter Murnane attempted to delete files on his computer after Hawaiian filed a breach of confidentiality lawsuit against Mesa during their bankruptcy. Mesa is saying Murnane was trying to cover up his pornography tracks.
Murnane, by the way, was not present at the hearing.

Excerpts:
Mesa Air Group said yesterday its chief financial officer went to great lengths to permanently delete computer data sought by Hawaiian Airlines to cover up his interest in pornography.
... Chris Pappiaoanou, Mesa's vice president of legal affairs, under questioning recalled an incident in late 2003 or early 2004 in which he came in to work on a Saturday morning and observed Murnane looking at adult content on Murnane's computer screen.

Will someone go to such a depth as to try to cover up fraudulent business dealings by saying they were deleting porn. What a sad company and even sadder management. Thou it might be kind of interesting to se what old Murnane is into reported by the media.

Yes it is too bad. MESA has proven that their behavior is not just insulated to hourly wage workers but to their Executive Management too.
MESA pilots, lok hard at going somewhere else, or for those with a lot of Seniority, look to apply pressure on the Board of Directors to oust Orienstein from daily operations.

I don't think ANY of our managers even have 4 yr degrees rather MBA's here at Mesa...
The vast majority of our FO's here have taken more airline management classes in college than these fools...
