Default Question for AIR WIS pilots and those not hired

How long after your interview with Air Wis did it take to get a reply? From what I understand, they call if they want you and e-mail if rejected. Any info would be appreciated.

I think they call if they want to offer you a job and send a letter in the mail if they do not.

I got a call about 2 weeks after I submitted an application. Basically just prescreen the appplicants before actual interview. Went to an interview and was offering a class that was 2 weeks after, just enough for 2 weeks notice. My time was about 798.6TT, 250ME, 142 Instrument-60 actual, CFI/CFII/MEI and no advance RJ course.

I just finished my training and people here really treated me well. To me, and most of people, Indoc was the hardest one of all but if you get through, everything after should be easy. I also really had good instructors(as well as classmates and partner) for systems, CPT, and sim. If you do your best, there's no doubt that you will succeed.

Be confident in yourself and have positive attitude then you should be fine.

skull,
I got a call 2 weeks after sending in my resume. Did a short phone interview and recently interviewed.

tg020,
Do you know the hours and what ratings of some others in your class? Also, how many were in your class? I'm close to the mins and was kinda wondering what my chances are. Thanks

I got hired in May and I love it here. After my interview I waited 3 days before calling and thanking Sara for the interview and to let her know if they had anymore questions to feel free to call me anytime. She told me they would like to offer a position.

I do think they call within 5 days and send a letter if not. I don't know if they are running classes. I think I heard word the other day they are slowing on the upgrades before the end of the year. I sure hope they continue to run classes!! Good luck!

Yes, plans to hire at least 16/mo through the rest of the year. My expectation is average monthly attrition will exceed that.

would this be a good place to start a working for a 121 gig?
Better than most depending on your situation and where you want to live.

tg020,

What does indoc consist of and why is it so hard? I guess I always thought the sim was the phase most likely to cause problems.

Thanks.
