since when did sitting right seat as a CFI become scratching your butt? I can recall in the last 400 hours multiple times that a student has done or came close to doing something to kill me, I can recall flying in weather, I can recall countless IMC flights, I can recall countless high wind and crosswind days. I certainly wouldnt call 400 hours of being a CFI scratching my butt.

It is amazing how much people with ~500 hours try to defend their hours. Some of you will fight to the death on how another 500 hours makes no difference. Get 500 more hours and say you gained nothing in that time.

i dunno about that cause my housemate just got a letter for his upgrade interview and he's only got like 1850 total and like 750 in type
