cold bay is week on week off and so are some lines held in King Salmon. not all are but some are
use the penair website to send a message to rich reineke he will get it
it's a fact that you make captain quicker by going to the bush ask around seniority is primarily for schedules not for upgrades

Whats the latest on ERA. Heard that it was not looking good with the bank. Three more Saabs?? Where did you hear that??? My source only confirmed two, too make sure it is a good move for PenAir. Can you say ENA 10 times a day? You would get thoes greasers down real good!!

And thoes ERA guys don't need to start sending out résumés to PenAir again. PenAir still has yours on file from last year. Just give them a call and tell them to update your hours by a grand on your app.
Naah, just kidding. Much love for ALL the pilots in need of a seat!!

Oh yeah I just got it, Mordi, Rofzu, very clever.
We pick up ENA and only senior guys will ever see DUT again. And Rofzu, hold as published, your number 4. Who knew there were so many PenAir guys on this forum. Must be lotsa guys looking for greener grass on the other side of the fence.

If we did pick up the ERA routes, we would probably get SAAB's for Valdez and Cordova, but I think ERA was using too big of airplanes (Dash 8's) for the ENA/HOM runs. I suspect we would do them in something smaller than a SAAB. But this is all speculation, and I never really know what is going on until it has already happened.

Doesnt ERA use the DHC-6 (Twin Otter) on the majority of the trips to Homer and Kenai? I know that they only fly the Dash 8 on one trip a day to homer, and I am not sure about the Kenai route.

Era uses both the otter and the dash for ENA. But mostly the otter... and that is one of the problems. People liked the dash, but could not count on it, so they anticipated that they would get the otter. Since PenAir pays the same per hour for the Saab as they do the Metro, they should go into ENA with nothing but the Saab! Promise the public that they would get a nice ride in a leather seat every time, and they might bite a little harder then they did for a slow cramped noisy twotter. Im sure there are some young wipper snappers that would love an upgrade to ten trips to ENA aday... Over there at PenAir.
