Oh wait that was 2 presidents ago!

I am curious about this new guy. He seems like a Delta insider unlike most of his predecessors (correct me if I am wrong). It appears to me that Delta won't have to deal with a middle man when dictating what happens at Comair. Not quite sure if this is a good or a bad thing.
The last two Presidents, Fred and Don, were both Delta insiders. Fred was originally the president of DCI. Fred was the one who made lots and lots of promises that never even came close to fruition. Except, he did keep one promise, he cut our pay! Ande Don was just a number crunching hatchet man.

Did anyone know about this new president before he made his announcements. No one that i've talked to over in the training building (new pilot wise) had any idea until the day of. Has Bonhorst been on his way out for a while, or was this a Daddy Delta Big Boss Shuffle?

I don't think Don was ever going to be a long term solution. He is one of those accountant types. He was brought in to cut costs. Once he did that it was only a matter of time before he was replaced.

Isn't he the one who ran Midwest Airlines into the ground? Also, didn't he retire after Song in 2004?
