I am less than 3 mo's from my 23rd and I'm wondering if T-prop captains need an ATP. I dont have the reg's right in front of me. Sorry in advance for a dumb question that I've never honestly been clear about because I had never considered flying a t-flop in the past.

You need an ATP to be the PIC of an aircraft opperating under 121 and you have to be 23 to get an ATP. Turbo prop or jet has nothing to do with it
