So don't sign the form in class? Just say NO Thank you? I think im just slow. When they tell us to sign just tell them no thanks?

No, they don't bring it up in class. They never mentioned it to my class or the class before us, or from what I hear any class for the last month or two. The company obviously believes they are covered by having the training contract in the CBA.

I took it home.....and used it for.....Well anyway that was months ago. I don't think they use it anymore ;).
It has been several weeks but the last list that I saw had 120 pilots listed...most were still in the pipeline. I think I am one of the more junior guys on the line and I started class in June. It is a LONG time to get through all their training events and IOE. I would say at least 3 months.

Don't hurry though because with only 15 lines (CA only no FO lines the company is using every flight for IOE) Their is ALOT of sitting RSV.

Aren't they covered by the CBA? I naturally assumed so. Can the training contract be enforced? If so, who would enforce it? Certainly not ALPA...

Well, I'm no lawyer and I won't pretend to be, but I personally think it'd be tough to enforce. By the time they're going after you, you're no longer covered by the CBA, so they couldn't go through the usual RLA channels; if they go through the courts, I think they'd have trouble holding you to an agreement you never signed.

4 weeks since my type ride and still no IOE.

Anyone know if we've made it into some of the major airlines CASS yet? Might as well do some traveling.

No new reciprocal agreements that I'm aware of.

The rainy season is just getting over in Thailand and the weather is relatively cool, resorts are empty, even cheaper than usual...pretty easy to get there on NWA :)

WOW - 4 weeks! You might have to fly the mighty stimulator once more before OE, but I know with you're mad piloting skills you don't need to!!!

Well old friend, I don't think I'll be doing that... but I hope it's going well for you! :) Mad - maybe, skilled - doubtful. Ha.

Don't worry guys...IOE will only take 2 months if your lucky....and after that maybe 1 or 2 days a month working......lots of time to spend all that money :rolleyes:
