I understood right away when PBS came out that if I could learn as much about it as possible I could greatly improve my qol. Fortunately for me there are many folks senior to me that prefer to complain about it rather than learn it. Thats fine with me, I usually get what I want off my 1st layer.

15 days off...including Thanksgiving. 77 hours credit. And I am very near the bottom of the list.
Weirdest thing....I screwed up the bid and left everything open. PBS gave me whatever it wanted to. huh....?

PBS will build you a great schedule if you don't do anything. I have heard numerous stories like that!
I bid number 50/170 in ORD. I ended up with all layer 1, 16 days off and 80 hours of credit. First time bidding on the jet. Very happy!!!
I should start another thread about this, but Chip Childs was in ORD today. I guess trying to rally the troops into not using the phone! Nice guy... I guess!

My November schedule turned out pretty nice as well... I bid 1/3rd of the way down the F/O in ORD.
14 days off, credit 87, block 78, I got all 4 days out of my layer 1, plenty of MEM overnights that I love, all weekends and Friday's off, I work Thanksgiving, but I didn't ask for it off, I'm done on that day at 10 am, so no sweat

I have a feeling that this will probably start to become the norm for the EMB120 schedules as they are phased out. Just ask anyone on the property who had the misfortune of flying the metros when they were being phased out.
