Got mine this week - wish me luck!

Anyone happen to know what the upcoming classes (CRJ vs EMB) are looking like?

We just got a letter stating that they are going to be pulling 20 something EMB120's off line so your chances of getting the RJ just got considerably better. If you get 120 in a year you'll be on the jet.

According to the rumor mill is they're not running any Brasilia classes for a while. Like maybe months or something.

Of course, another good rumor is the opening of an Orlando base. So take everything with a grain of salt.

Next RJ class is Nov 12th and it's not full. My friend interviewed last Thursday with 5 others, all 6 were hired. Usually they wait and send out letters or call but all 6 were told that day and all at the same time. Another friend of mine was one of the hiring CA's, he said they told all 6 because it was the first time that all who interview were hired.

It sounds like we need Brasilia pilots. PDX doesn't even have any of their own reserve pilots in November. Plus, every time I call Crew Sched they're always telling me how short they are for Bro FO's. AND, we've been getting emails requesting us to 'help' by sitting reserve on certain dates for extra pay. Sure sounds to me like we need more pilots on the props.

Yeah, they had to reduce the number of lines because we didn't have enough. I'm flying a trip next month with someone from Monterey for crying out loud.
