With out getting you guys too wound up, if the Colgan's, Mesa's, etc are so bad why not go somewhere else? Seems most everyone is hiring, with your qualifications it shouldn't be hard at all to find a better place to park yourself.

that's exactly what the Colgan wrote in one of their anti-ALPA propaganda newsletters. direct quote:
"We understand that the MEC at ExpressJet has communicated with our pilots boasting about their wages and success of ALPA representation. What they did not tell you is that due to the high costs incurred by ExpressJet for those wages, Continental decided to take away 69 airplanes of flying from ExpressJet and give it to Chautauqua, a non-ALPA carrier which had much more reasonable costs. They also did not tell you that another high cost ALPA carrier, Atlantic Coast (which later became Independence Air), went out of business and all of its pilots were furloughed. Nor did they tell you that Air Wisonsin, another high cost carrier, lost its business at United to Mesa, a low-cost carrier."
I guess we do work for the same company after all!

It's funny how the clowns who run these airlines will be so quick to say how they need to give millions in bonuses to "retain talent". Yet they don't see the same correlation of paying above poverty level when recruiting "talent" in the cockpit.
