You have to be more specific. What is your situation?

I hear ya brotha, if you are going to do it, do it now because 1st year pay for the 2nd time around is tough............ But I made more my first year at XJT then a buddy of mine made his 2nd year at Colgan for what its worth

Welcome to first year airline pay. No harm in leaving, as a matter of fact, the sooner the better. Last thing you want to do is get to that 2nd yr pay only to take another cut and wait another 12 months before 2nd yr pay again. Also, the longer you wait to leave, the more comfortable you become in your environment. Make the move fast.

Wife & kid, need money, wifey doesnt care if i am away. Just need to find out how much out of pocket for a crashpad, low upgrade, QOL. Colgan hasnt treated me poor at all interms of being home every night but Im starting to get a bit urked by having to call scheduling each time I pick up open time to inform them that I did not get paid the right amount. Also it is tough to find out after fighting 6 months to get your #1 base that it is going to go reserve until march. I am just wondering what you other guys deal with? It seems that the QOL is a bit better at some other joints (AWAC, REP, X)....

Hey I feel for ya, I get a lot of flak on here for bashing Colgan, and I hate to say I told ya so, but I told ya so. It wasnt make believe about Colgan and what life is like there, I have made hundreds of dollars if not $1,000-2000 on pay protection alone. Having good work rules and a solid contract makes you money and allows you to get paid for being at home (FBO's, Domicile rest, etc.........) The ability to pick up open time and trade your schedule has allowed me to make over 30k my first year and I will make over 50k my second year. The only advice I can give you is if you are going too leave Colgan, do it now...............

Also I don't care what anybody says the mix of flying we do is very nice and it allows each trip to be unique, Mexico in the winter is nice........
