Word of caution about the record expunging:

When you go to traffic school in Illinois, it still goes on your record for the 6 months after your origional court date as a part of your "probation" (which means if you get another ticket while on probation, they both go on your record and you're out the 150 bucks in tuition) It is up to the county cleark to then remove it from your record.

The problem is that even though ths system is automated, its by no means flawless. Many times the computer doesnt take it off your record until after you notice it and call the county cleark. That means its probibly a good idea to check your record ($5 at the DMV) about 7mo after you finish traffic school, insuring your state record is in tact.

Personally, if you went to traffic school for one (or two) tickets, tell the interviewers that. Say that you had a ticket, got it off your record, but that it could still be there. They figure that if you are that honest about something rather trivial, you probibly arent trying to hide anything big.

Don't even worry about it. Nobody will care, seriously. Just don't make it a habit.

Speeding tickets aren't anything to worry about these days. As long as you have a pulse, you are good to go.

Too bad taxiing fast doesn't go hand in hand with flying fast.
Whenever I hear SWA in front of me on final, I know it's time to start slowing.

ExpressJet does not ask for a driving record, nor do they ask any questions about your driving history.
