I've got an interview coming up with PSA. I searched and see some talk of a new test not on any gouge sites...any truth in that? Also, which is more accurate, www.mypilotcareer.com or www.aviationinterviews.com? The first one is free. I don't mind paying for www.aviationinterviews.com but I'm not real wild about the recurring charge they want to put on your credit card.
What aircraft are they using for the sim? I am rusty as hell and need some advice as to how to best prepare. I can hit the books no problem, but its been a while since I have done any serious ifr stuff. Any help would be appreciated.
Anybody ever heard of a company called simulation standards? www.simulationstandards.com. I know alot of you are down on the jet course, but I am just curious of how they compare to ATP's rj course.
Thanks

Aviationinterviews.com is pretty good and should be all you need. It's free too, you just need to sign up for the free members section. When my buddy interviewed with them it was a crj full motion sim, he practiced using flight sim, but you'd definitely want to get some glass experience of some type. Good luck on the interview!

Study the Gleim's FAA ATP data bank. It's a lot of information, but if you know the question bank inside and out, you'll do good. Many questions are variations of eachother so it's not that bad when you think about it.

Last time i was in CLT, PSA and Piedmont were using their Full Motion sims (CRJ-200/700) during the interview. PSA uses a level D on motion and i think Piedmont uses their level C off motion

It is a PCAD, and the MD-82 at that. Fly it with two fingers and 1 thumb (if you have more than one on each hand). I studied the gouges off of aviationinterviews.com and did just fine. They are heavy on the honesty side, so don't BS them. They like to hear that you read the gouges to prepare for the interview. PM me if you need more info. Good luck to all!
