Republic Branded Flying?

RAH now has its first aircraft painted in "Republic Airways" livery. Notice it says Airways and not Airlines.. also the circle of stars on the tail. I wonder what, if anything, BB has in the works for this aircraft.

Why not just use the star alliance livery then? I don't think it could be used by both S5 and Republic, since the little decal by door L1 would have read either: "Operated by Republic Airlines" or "Operated by Shuttle America".

One other note, the planes for Republic and Shuttle are not interchangeable, as they are assigned to a certificate.
Enough of the rumors. Given the situation RAH is in now, why would they start a branded flying? Does not make sense.

its a respectable looking spare. Its goes along the same lines as the trans states ones that you see in st louis. its a heck of alot better than those spares that look like beaters on the chq side. those things are a dirty white and the blue engines and tail doesnt let you know who your flying on. its the same as the colgan saabs with the red white and blue. it looks like a respectable airplane and not some pos plane that might happen to hold together while your riding on it.

looks nice, it is however a white airplane with a blue tail...
As to the Trans States Comments, yeh...while they atleast have wording on them (unlike the CHQ 140's)...they are dirty, crapholes to boot any day of the week.
