Well thats a bummer. Where did you move out here from? I am renting a nice new one bedroom apartment in Henderson for $830. I know there are some places in Henderson and Boulder that are going for $650-750.

I'm not sure about crashpads.. but if I remember right there was a phone number that they gave us on one of the letters in the mail welcoming you to class. I've also heard that rooms run $400-500 around the Henderson area. Good luck!

Dont know if this has been covered, but is there a contract and if ther is, how long is it? Could i just go for say 5 or 6 months and then leave when I have the right amount of time?

Did you get to jump out of that Otter? I'd call that decision making, but it's fun as all get out.

Default Jumping from Otters

I share the pattern with an Otter now and then, and once it has dropped its load of chutists, boy that thing comes down quick. They appear to be able to do turn arounds in about 10 minutes. Lands really slow, too, and those big beta'd props stop it on a dime.

As COTriple7 said, there is no training contract. Feel free to fly for 6 months and leave, alot do. They know that they are a stepping stone for most people nowadays, sadly.

Thanks! I think I am just going to commute. Right now that's really the only thing that will work for me. I might move down later?!

Got my first taste of the sim today! I got to play John's FO for an inflight engine failure. It was AWESOME. Can't wait to get in that seat for flight training!

Sounds great. The sim really isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. After that sim getting back in a real airplane is cake. You guys are moving right along, good news. I've been sitting reserve all week, but haven't flown.

Default Scenic interview Q's

Can anyone tell me what info Scenic requires for the 10 year background check? Other than what's listed on their website, are there any other documents/records that one should bring?
E.g. College Transcripts, Credit Rating

Just have dates of employment/schooling for the past 10 years along with your references. You won't need any transcripts or credit forms.
