FORBES called Jonathan Ornstein "essentially a liar"
In 1978 Ornstein dropped out of the University of Pennsylvania...

PHOENIX — When Jonathan Ornstein was blackballed by a University of Pennsylvania fraternity in the mid-'70s — because he's Jewish, he says — he found a way to go where he'd been told he did not belong.
"A friend (George Peter Murnane III) who was a member stood up for me. He couldn't get me into the fraternity," Ornstein says with a devilish wink. "But I went to a lot of their parties as his sister's date."
"They couldn't keep me out," he says, laughing.
at age 21, became E.F. Hutton's youngest-ever broker. But over nine years he bounced around five firms, getting fired from several. Why? A lengthy disciplinary record--the official printout is 21 feet long--charging unauthorized trading, misrepresentation, document alteration and churning. Eventually, Ornstein was fined $20,000 and suspended as a broker for three years. A published Securities & Exchange Commission opinion essentially called him a liar.

In the Hawaiian vs Mesa trial, after Jonathan took the stand, I thought Hawaiian attorneys were right in making the point that there were potential Sarbanes-Oxley issues involving a recent Mesa press release. I had thought the same thing. According to the notes we received, this was the recent press release,
"in which, while stating that Mesa maintains the "highest ethical standards," Mesa fails to disclose to shareholders that Mesa's CFO –the person responsible for public shareholder reports – was facing allegations of destruction of evidence that he was federally-mandated to preserve. J.O. admitted that he had reviewed and approved this press release. J.O. got flustered here and blurted out that they had no responsibility to issue any information at all under NASDAQ rules.

Hawaiian Chief Executive Officer Mark Dunkerley said that
"To put an employee — indeed a friend of the CEO for 30-odd years — to hang him out to dry, to push him under the bus, with this absolutely flimsy and transparent argument about pornography is unbelievable," Dunkerley said.

Why don't you Mesa guys do yourself a favor and quit? You all know that place sucks. You will be happier in the long run if you go somewhere else. Besides, you will have to do that anyway when that ship sinks soon. Might as well go do it now.

Assuming those two would DARE step out of their little mega-rich country club Paris Hilton parties circle of yentas to actually lower themselves to even talk to a pilot. Oh the horror! They'll DEFINITELY need to immediately jump into their Peninsula Club shower to wash off the funk.

I'M TRYING!!! I'M TRYING!!! DUDE IT ISN'T THAT EASY TO JUST UPROOT YOUR LIFE... TRY IT SOME TIME. I am supposedly in the pool at one place, and am waiting for my "in" to pay off at another place. The biggest challenge is to find somewhere that isn't as bad as MAG, and doesn't have a huge pay cut. Ya know, find the dawg with the fewest fleas as it were.
