You know what, I give up. I thought I explained myself in the previous post.

Whatever.

Shark,

I'm sorry if you felt like I was chastising you through my question. That was not my intent. I only wanted to find out what people/organizations were putting out that misinformation. You specifically said that you "had actually heard that from a few places before". I was just curious as to who exactly was saying this stuff. I think you'll admit that you did not explain that.

At any rate, it's probably not important. The people who are really interested in their careers in this industry take the time to do the research and get all of the info, good and bad.

In my younger days I probably would have responded differently. Man, I must be getting old. :)

If there is one thing I've learned posting on this board for over a year and a half...you will always here some weird/horrible/messed up rumor about your company, their contract, their operation, etc. And everytime you hear it...it will come from someone that doesn't work there, has never worked there, and is basing their opinion on something they heard in a crew room, from a gate agent, or just made up themselves. This is why I don't listen to people who knock RAH but have never flown the line here. My best friend is an XJT FO and I don't repeat half the stuff he tells me (good or bad)...cuz I don't work there so it doesn't matter.

I applied in march of this year with 1300 TT and 1050 ME & 1000 turbine (all 135 time). I got an email in three weeks. Couldn't attend class within two weeks of any of the interview dates so they told me to re-apply when I could. I applied again in April with 100 more hours on my resume (Beech 1900 time) and got an email back in less than a week.

I got hired at SKW a week before my interview with XJT so I called and canceled the interview.

*I was a Continental Intern, so that could have affected the responst time, but I highly doubt it.

They were very quick to respond in April. They must have been hibernating in February.

FWIW, I recently interviewed with NWA and my interview group consisted of 1 AWAC, 1 Republic, 1 SkyWest, 1 Horizon, 1 Sun Country, 1 CHQ, and 2 XJET, and we ALL got hired. So I guess we are all equal when it comes to quality pilots. Or maybe NWA is just desperate!:D;)
