I had a passenger who would not get on the aircraft till she finished her phone call, all the paperwork had been handed up and we had started doing our calculations-she was still yacking on the jet bridge!

I got out of my seat and told her I would not delay this flight for her convenience, and that if she wanted to go to her destination she needed to hang up now and get on board. Her reply - just a minute, I'm almost done,(and added with a tone of indignation) you people have no courtesy!

Well, the gate agent said she'd take care of it, and while she(the talker)was still yacking away, the gate agent pulled the jet bridge away, and we closed the door. Miss. talker didn't even realize we had started to push back till the gate agent closed the storm shutter.
