Maybe they will close ric and open ORD or IAD
But that might make too many people happy
I had heard the only reason the have ric is cause of the cheap hanger space for MX
there has to be other cheap places to have hangers

I doubt RIC is going away for just that reason...cheap space is hard to find! And I seem to remember not being able to offer our FFOD pax any coffee because Hulas decided he wouldn't pay the coffee bills for 6 months...

i stayed in ric cuz the lines were better in the past, and i bid really high. I'm going to upgrade to captain, use the Hulas scholarship which is 30 days in the Hilton and 24 hour non-taxable per diem, then head back out to stl
And many people commute from ORD to stl or ric, and we'd like to get some sort of parking pass like all other airline carriers give their employees. US Air will actually let us park in their lot. ALL WE NEED is a SIDA badge, which now Go Jet pilots get, but our airline won't give them to us because Go Jet is a different carrier

You guys wanna laugh??? we parked next to a Gojet in ORD last week....we are waiting on fuel....apparently its an act of congress to get a fuel truck over there...anyway....im lookin out the window and i See the Gojet captain doing the walk-around...he looks up at me...and gives me the finger...i dunno i guess maybe AWAC didnt hire him in the past or something....but i just remember saying to myself "Wow shouldnt i be the one flipping you off???"

I keep hearing stories like that from all over.. I was always really skeptical of the "Hi guys, I'm jumpseating, just looking for a ride to XYZ.. I work for 'Trans States Holdings' and proceed to show their GoJet badge," until it actually happened to a friend of mine and he called the guy out on it.. haha.. what a great story that was..
