well, i do wanna thank you guys for the wealth of info. i am definitely up for learning more. i just second guess myself with the whole cfi thing and although many think i'll do well, i don't think so. perhaps banner towing or flying small twins for some rich guy would give the same level of experience or knowledge? thanks for the input guys. just another low time/budget trying to make it......

Another bit of advice is in your spare time , study SID's and STAR's , go to liveatc.com and practice copying down a clearence or two, look at the jet airway's , learn the ATC system. That seems to be the biggest hurdle new right seat pilots have in my experience.

I agree with everyone, get some experience as a professional pilot during whatever you can get your hands on... you get to build time, experience, stories, friends, actual hours, actual flying and some money. Especially now in today's market... I was making more than double of what the regionals paid just by instructing. I instructed for 3 years and did about 3 months of traffic watch for a local san francisco radio station.

Oh good call. Add traffic watch and pipeline flying to your list of options.
