Default ASA Application/Interview Process: Timeframe?

Hey all,

I received a call from ASA on December 21st, told me they were going to send me an application packet for further review and to determine if they were going to interview me. Because of the holidays, I received the packet on 12/29.

For those of you who've interviewed there, how long did it take for them to respond to you after you sent your app back in, and then how long after that did you interview?

I only have about 3 weeks before I have to commit to another offer, this is why I'm wondering. Thanks in advance for the help,

Dana

I would like to know that too. Looking at aviationinterviews, it appears the people posting were called within 1 to 3 weeks of applying, but nothing on how long they had to wait for an interview. Though it does look like they let you know right away if you are hired. Should be someone with the info you need.

When did you apply?

Good luck.

Well they sent me my packet after they already scheduled me an interview date, so I'm not sure how long it will take but looking at the current situation it would prolly be a week after you mail the packet back.

P.S. if you want to speed the process up, overnight the packet back to them.

When I interviewed it was all a pretty quick process and happened a bit differently. I sent in my resume and the next day they called me and did a 'pre-screening.' They said they would call me back when they had made a decision about interviewing me, which I expected to be days or maybe a few weeks from then. They called back about 45mins later and scheduled the interview date then and there.

So a bit different track from yours, and in regards to actually scheduling the interview date they were quite flexible. They offered a date as soon as one week away but I had another interview scheduled so I took one about 2 weeks away.

When you say you have 3 weeks to commit to the other offer, is that when your class date starts? Although I wouldn't necessarily recommend it, if the choice is between a 'bottom-of-the-barrel' place or one a lot better I wouldn't treat the beginning of class as some sort of binding commitment to that company...

I hope that helps Dana.

after i sent the packet back via snail mail it took them about 5 days to process it then they scheduled me for an interview 2 weeks out. this was back in november. if you have 3 weeks to respond to the other place id get that packet back pronto, overnight it if you have to. theyll tell you right away if you got the job. good luck.
