SKW will not, but XJet will...Good luck. And stay away from the Booze.

You just gotta be a talker. I can spin a DUI into an After School Movie and have the entire interview board cheering while they wipe the tears out of their eyes about my long and difficult struggle to find myself, develop responsibility, and repay my debt to society. Thankfully, I haven't had to (nor will I ever) do that. I have friends that could probably drive drunk, hit a tourbus full of nuns and Make-A-Wish families, and still come out looking like the offspring of Chuck Yeager and Jesus Christ.

Main point: You COULD get hired with one, it's happened before...but you better be able to explain it, why it happened, what you learned, and why from this point on you refuse to touch any liquid other than bottled water.

I don't know what the individual airline policies are. But, and a big but, is I would look at it as a "judgement" issue. Yes people make mistakes but when competing for a job that judgement is key, I see it as a deal breaker. If I had two applicants both same quals I would hire the guy or gal without the DUI.

In this market if you are honnest about it during your interview I don't think it would be an issue. Also if when you got the DUI you were in some part of the journey to be an airline pilot it hurts more than something you got before the training
