Default 4 year old dui

Does anyone know of an airline that will hire you with a 4 year old dui?

Man, that's gotta be a record! You need to keep that young-un out of the liquor locker and don't give him the keys to the car anymore...

Are you asking because you need five years without DUI for the canadian waiver? You would definately not get in with an airline that fly's noth of the border. I was looking into the requirements for the canadian waiver because I have some non-driving alcohol offenses and was wondering what else would deny you entry into canada. Other than the obvious felony type offenses only the DUI will bar you from entry.

You had better start gathering your paperwork now though becase it looks like it takes some time receive the pardon from the canadian government. They want all kinds of official documents.

I know of 2 friends that were hired with fresh dui's that fly north of the border. 1 at x-jet and one at pinnacle. They were hired 3 years ago when hiring was a bit tougher than now. Tell the truth and disclose it and you will be fine.

Yeah I agree, tell the truth and disclose it. Have a good sincere explanation as to why it happened and what you did to fix the problem.

Only way to find out is to try. There is no cut and dried answer, but I'd bet the 135 freight outfits flying domestically would be most "forgiving".

I don't think Canada+DUI was an issue 3 years ago, because it's a fairly new rule. I'm pretty sure Skywest won't hire somebody who will not be able to clear Canada due to a DUI.
