There you have it my friends. I'm sure you don't mind working for GO-Jets?

no its not, lets face it when you get to CAL, you will realize that it won't be nearly as grand as you would have thought. I have buddies there and yes the pay is more, and the airplanes are bigger and they go across the pond, but the pay is still relatively low and management treats their pilots like slaves..........and to the point of the age 65 mess, it actually would make more sense to be at a good regional, being as though you will be there longer.......... Whats the difference really between 3,000hrs PIC and 4,000hrs PIC, really just a 1,000................

APA.... any AA guys know about that...or am i just retarded? probably retarded!

Before Eagle was one airline, APA did represent one of the Eagles (Flagship in BNA I think). Didn't work out so well. The union stays even if Eagle is sold unless it is voted out.

Unlimited and RJ, do your homework for crying out loud, your career depends upon it.

ok so everyone always seem to be the ones that know what is going on but where did you get this info that LAX will be closing and really when would that take place?

Oh how right swedish blender is ... I was a Flagship guy.....APA treated us....their "union brothers"....like so much dung on the bottom of their shoe....Contract 94.....APA played the pilots at eagle like a fiddle......that was the beginning of the end of APA representing Eagle pilots.

Would anyone dare speculate (and at least give me hope) that all airlines are cyclical and AE is poised for movement with its pilot group.

Thanks in advance.

Stay at an airline that leaches off a larger one. Stay at the airline that really has no business except the one that the larger company gives them and can take at anytime for almost no reason at all. And before anyone says that can't happen look at expressjet. The only reason they lost the continental flying was to put the screws to them.

I saw a "For Sale" sign placed in the one of the flight deck windows of an Eagle aircraft at DFW the other day. Too funny. At least those guys have a sense of humor about their plight.
