It must really burn you up to see those ERJs in SLC with a Delta widget on the tail.
When was the last time xjt posted anything less than a 10 million dollar loss?

"He's trying to scare us SkyWest folk, as usual!"
"Another garbage post from Meriflyer"

If you guys are tired of Merit's spam. Just ignore him. Honestly, there would be one post in this thread if you did.

now i know you have no idea what your talking about. any confidence you have in a regional is misplaced. The best regional today could be the worst tomorrow. As much as you want to be believe everything is fine and dandy, one news release later and your typing a resume. Sad truth and that goes for any airline big or small. One merger, bankruptcy, competition from another airline.... just hope everyone can keep their jobs

Everything else is just bs, you better pay attention to your own company(xjet) they are in the worst shape of all.

Skywest is still set to get 8 airplanes worth of growth in 2008 and i'm sure there is more to come.

The only people who are screaming that the sky is falling at skywest are the clowns who are still bitter that the alpa drive failed.
Wow.. that's big of you.

My interest in SkyWest is nothing more and nothing less than them being my home town airline. I take interest in every airline in the regional index with that said. Call it a garbage post, but it came directly from a SkyWest captain on another board. I'd be happy to provide you the link if need be.

As for ExpressJet's shape? No argument there. It's been a tough year for them. As for paying attention to them, believe me, I do but as a pilot that's about all I can do. Last time I checked, pilots didn't call the shots.

Don,

I'd hardly call it "spam". Since when did asking a simple question about an airline become "spam". I'd be happy to answer anyone's questions about my airline, for better or worse.

As for trying to scare anyone? Please.. If anything I was skeptical about the original poster's intent as clearly indicated in my initial post.

Really? What happened to "keep it on topic"?

Right now, 50 or so upgraded in December but there are no new upgrade classes scheduled. I dont know if it'll be six years or not. We'll see when the next wave of upgrades hits. A little over 3,000 is correct.

/answers post with a little realism

I asked a question a few posts back.

That's ok, though. Seems like I'm ignored 2/3 of the time anyway.
