Lynx Aviation News... :-(

Apparently, the guys who interviewed yesterday were told that the company has decided not to accept options until March 09...

They haven't told the pilots yet, but nice to know they are telling the applicants the truth.

Sucks to hear it, I'm sure there will still be upgrades due to attrition, especially if the pay isn't fixed.

So whats this mean for their route structure and cities they serve? How many aircraft do they have flying now? They sure were quick to cancel the XJT flying. Gotta wonder what their plan is if they defer deliveries for over a year AND cancel the contractor that was flying the routes for them.

i wonder when that dude who always comes on here promoting Lynx jobs will come back and respond to this.

They have nine aircraft on the propery, number 10 is on its way. The current fleet more than covers the current flying and probably could absorb some more.

I'd expect to see the current destinations be adjusted and some shorter leg destinations added (COS, ASE, EGE???).

how many acft were they supposed to buy in total?

TheGreatChecko 01-12-2008 03:13 PM

10 firm orders 10 options

HercDriver130 01-12-2008 05:16 PM

so really all they did was NOT convert options to orders.... gee I guess thats why they call them options.

Who knows, with the way things work at Bombardier, they have decided to take the options, but by the time they start getting delivered it will be March 09, with a promise date of late '08.:D
