Default Mesa new hires

Does anyone know where the new guys at mesa are being based? Are people getting the 1900?

....and yes, I am aware that mesa is a crappy company, I never planned on applying there(i just did as a last resort) but doing stalls and steep turns is getting old after almost 1,000 dual given.

Latest class ERJ in Orlando, CRJ Houston and Chicago. Class before that mostly 1900 in all the lovely places (Farmington, Salina, Parkersburg) and one Dash in Denver.

I am in the pool with Mesa but requested the 1900, the last class started the 28th and is in PHX working on the ERJ they are all going to Orlando as far as I know and they have stepped up the pace because they need the crews in place quickly.

Anyone have a clue when the 1900 classs may start?

Probably not until summer. They just filled a lot of the vacant 1900 seats and are now hurting bigtime for ERJ/CRJ.

Is the base in Orlando a Mesa base or Freedom?

This is true, but the contract's up next year, so you can come in with the attitude of fix-it-up or burn-it-down in 2007. We are READY to strike (more like foaming at the mouth), so there should be some significant work-rule improvements in the future. If not, I want to KILL mesa and move on to Skywest or whoever.

Also, several good regionals right now will ONLY hire folks with 121 experience (from Mesa or Eagle). Flight instructors need not apply. And Mesa is lots better than Eagle BTW.
